Building condition assessments and condition surveys

Make use of expert knowledge when assessing a property’s condition and repair needs.

Condition assessments

They provide an overview of the building's condition and future repair needs.

Condition survey

They further investigate the condition of structures and materials through sampling and measurements.

Hazardous materials survey

Identify and locate potentially harmful substances, such as asbestos and PAH compounds.

Moisture surveys

Detects moisture accumulated in structures and the damage it causes.

Thermal imaging

Reveals heat leaks, insulation problems and energy efficiency deficiencies.

Drone filming

We use drone photography to enable us to carry out inspections quickly and cost-effectively, even in locations that are difficult to reach using traditional methods.

Expert opinions

Provide professional assessments and recommendations to support decision-making.

Why is it important to do condition assessments regularly?

The building's outer shell – the facade and the roof – is the most important part of a property against weathering and wear. If well built, they can last for decades, but only if their condition is monitored regularly.

Regular fitness assessment:

  • reveals hidden damage in time

  • allows for minor maintenance before major repairs

  • saves costs and extends the life of the building

Facade condition survey

Condition survey

  • If necessary, destructive investigations

  • Laboratory measurements to determine functionality and composition

  • Report to support repair planning

  • Cost estimate

Roof condition assessment and condition survey

Condition assessment

  • Assessment of the condition of the roof

  • Roof structures and upper floor

  • Rainwater system

  • Roof safety products

  • Non-destructive investigations

  • Report: errors, shortcomings and proposed measures

  • Cost estimate for proposed measures

Condition survey

  • Detailed analysis of selected structural components using destructive methods (structural openings)

  • Assessment of technical and building physical functionality

  • Report as a basis for repair planning
